About Us
C&C Rail and Civil (C&C) was founded in 2018, by Chris Proctor and Craig Lantry. We provide quality operators, site supervision and project management to the rail and civil construction and maintenance industries. With an excess of fifty years’ experience, C&C Site Supervisors have managed an array of rail maintenance and construction works.
We supply high quality, multi-skilled operators who understand deadlines and OH&S that the rail and civil industries require.
Our internal project management team enables C&C to provide and deliver onsite construction and maintenance works.
What Do We Specialise In?
- Full and Skim Track Reconditioning.
- Timber, Steel and Concrete Re-sleepering/Re-timbering.
- Re-railing and welding works.
- Turn out construction and installations.
- Construction of passing loops.
- Emergency Response from wash outs, derailments e.g. Drayton’s derailments which involved Recovery of a Loco from under a bridge.
- Emergency response work with the Rural Fire Services providing various machinery during the fire season.
- Emergency Access both rail corridor and civil.
- Road construction for National Parks and Wildlife Services & Soil Conservation Services.
- Removal of transom top bridges and replacing with box culverts.
What Have We Done?
C&C has completed various works for small, medium, and large-scale clients across NSW.
- Managing the onsite construction of the Yoogali Level Crossing Upgrade on the CRN.
- Managing onsite construction of various Track Reconditioning Works for the CRN.
- During the CRN shutdowns we manage and supply plant for all major MPM works (completing major recons - full depth 800 metre track recons, 1800 metre skim recons, multiple turn out installations)
- Assisting the NSW Fire Brigade in maintaining and installing fire breaks across Northern NSW.
- Supplying Plant and labourers to various contractors in the Hunter Valley as required, particularly during ARTC Shutdowns.
